The Warren Memorial Scholarship Fund began in 1982 by Mrs. Ruby Gannaway, then-chairperson of Christian Education at Warren Memorial UMC. The fund, which is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization, serves to help ease the ever-rising costs of higher education for qualifying students who are members of Warren.

The Board of Directors of the Warren Scholarship Committee awards scholarships within its sole discretion, consistent with the bylaws and based upon the funds’ availability.

The Warren Memorial Scholarship application period begins March 1 and ends April 30 each year for all scholarships.

If you are a graduating high school senior: See the “Basic Scholarship” for its criteria, and print and complete the application and all other requirements by April 30.

If you are a college, technical or graduate student – See the “College, Technical and Graduate  Scholarships.” Review each scholarship’s description and criteria, and submit the required information as indicated by April 30. You may apply for only one of these scholarships.
